You are invited to march with Post 24 in the George Washington Birthday Parade on Monday, February 20. The parade starts at 1 PM. Post will open at 0900 for coffee and donuts. Followed by a private tour of Gadsby's Museum and then the parade. We plan to leave from the Post at approximately 11:30 AM and walk (about 7/10th of mile) to our staging area located on Princess St. between Payne and Fayette Streets (if you miss our group walk from the Post).
Ideally, wear your official Legion cap or Legion/Service ball cap, and the blue Legion emblem hoodie or sweatshirt with Khaki pants and comfortable walking shoes. If you do not have Legion emblem outerwear, then any dark blue jacket or sweatshirt will do. If you don't have any of the suggested uniform items mentioned, then wear something you think is appropriate.
