Each year, Post 177 sponsors an American Legion Baseball Team. This team is composed of
17, 18 and 19 year olds who live within the Fairfax, Robinson or Woodson High School
boundaries. We play within District 17 and play other Legion posts from throughout Northern
Virginia. Normally games are played on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays during
the month of June with a few games in early July. This is followed by District, State, Regional
and World Series tournaments. Each game, except for when there is a double header, is nine
innings and each player gets a lot of playing time. If you are interested in participating, please
